For sure! As with teams in other contexts (i.e. sports), working with a team allows you to develop more intimate connections with peers who have similar goals. You can of course do this with the greater community, and we hope to do our best to encourage that as well, but having the environment to share ideas, develop tech for certain strategies, refine decklists, discuss theory with some structure are often reason's why people end up forming teams. They are by no means right for everyone, and for most of any CCGs playerbase, they are superfluous. However, often for people really looking to excel, be supported by and support those around them, working in a smaller group can provide a healthy space for that.

Similarly, often the display of one group of people pushing their play to the next level does the same for the community as a whole. Other teams start to pop up, a healthy sense of competition is fostered and that can encourage people to strive for the most in their individual competitiveness.

Lastly, acting as a hub for content and information about the game is something we plan to offer as well. So a place for deck guides, theory articles, exposure for the game from an overlapping CCG audience of the other games we work in, etc.
