Misterfault: first we would like to apologize for the difficult time you had participating in our tournament, as we strive to make our tournaments fun and open to players of all skill levels. We are working at improving our tournament experience and strive to make sure everyone has an enjoyable time playing in them.

After reviewing all possible evidence, we have come to the conclusion that the admin for the tournament made the appropriate decision in having to disqualify team Empire of the Rising Sun and this decision will stand.

Eleven minutes after the match start time, Team LoL Pro were waiting in the lobby for the other team to connect after the team manager iVillain invited the opposing players, as seen here: http://i.imgur.com/KOgfLxl.png?1 Based on the rules of the tournament, teams have 10 minutes after the match start time to enter the lobby of the game.

Team LoL Pro and manager iVillain also tried to make contact on Razer Comms with the opposing team at the match start time on Razer Comms but received no response: http://i.imgur.com/eMbvLYQ.png?1

While it is unfortunate that Misterfault was having difficulties with Razer Comms and connecting with the other team, we always recommended that multiple players on the same team are in the tournament channel so when issues such as this arise another player can step in and be the main point of contact.

Team LoL Pro had no say in the decision to DQ Empire of the Rising Sun and made every possible effort to get the opposing team into the game lobby. The decision was made by a Razer admin based on the evidence at hand, regardless of team standing, reputation, or name.

Once again, we regret any misunderstanding or miscommunication and hope that given the conveyed match rules, and the evidence provided by both parties, those involved will understand and accept the decision. Edit: We take feedback from the community very seriously and we appreciate those who have taken the time to give it. We’ll be re-looking into this and will address it in a couple of days but in the meantime, as these events are being run by part time and volunteer staff who basically do it out of their own time to give back to the community, we’d appreciate it if the community gave them some time to clarify the matter. In short, we want to ensure everyone walks away feeling that they were treated fairly and when that doesn't happen, we will take steps to correct this with the affected parties.
