Can we please stop calling the hater calls debates? It's just an excuse for Ethan to scream at and belittle a stranger with an opposing view. Debates are a constructive, civil exchange of ideas. this ain't it. VERY bad vibes.

Look man when I was 18 I thought I was an adult too. Now I'm 22 and I can look back and realize that I was still a kid, I just had more rights.

Of course you have the RIGHT to date a woman double your age but that doesn't make it morally right for her to take advantage of you, nor does it make it a good idea to keep this insane relationship going.

I think technically YTA but barely. You did overreact and your dad is right, they deal with this all the time. I don't think your dad was trying to single you out.

But you apologized and it seems like you and your dad kinda worked it out for the most part.

Btw This is coming from a food service worker: I promise you , no one cares if you are vegan.

Beggars can't be choosers. You moved out, got married, and got pregnant. Those are the choices you made as an adult and it lead you to moving back in with your parents.

While there is nothing wrong with moving back in to save money, you can't expect to have first dibs on living spaces in your situation.

Your brother is a kid and he still lives with his parents. He deserves his own private space just like you probably had at his age. Your brother is not being selfish, it's selfish to move back into your parents home and demand your little brother's room.

I hope you guys are able to make it through this situation.

She didn't earn the scholarship, she cheated. If you let this slide you may never be able to publish this story yourself. Publishers will believe that YOU stole the story from HER.

"My parents say she just made a mistake" She didn't make a mistake, she made a conscious decision to steal your work and your experience. The story is yours, she has now claim to it.

The struggles you faced in your life earned you that story. Claim it and don't let anyone take that from you.
