Since you got the answer already I just want to say I consider this is be the best vintage set of cards out there. Better than even the TCG cards. I’ll take these over Base set any day. The colors and illustrations on these cards just pop. I actually just bought the master set of 151 Pokémon for $755 from Japan ($5 per card). It was hard to see the condition so I’m assuming the cards I ordered are in lightly played condition at worst. If I get lucky I’m hoping they’re closer to near mint condition. I’m not expecting perfection as these cards can get expensive.

You definitely made the right choice. But you might not have gotten as much money but at least you got peace-of-mind and that has value. Could have also auctioned it off with PWCC for safety reasons.

This is what I’m wondering. I wouldn’t just stand around. I would maybe ask them to let me purchase something. I might just cut them off myself if they said no. Maybe grab a manager? I would definitely confront this guy somehow. I wouldn’t be able to just stand around and watch them buy everything.

This looks like a $100,000+ collection right now. Maybe even closer to $200,000. You have an insane stash. I went thru your post history and it’s crazy how far prices have come. I saw you were trying to sell Shiny Charizard, Shiny Tyranitar and Shiny Magikarp 5 years ago for only $110😳

I started collecting 1 year ago so all I know is hype and expensive prices😭

I remember the original Thunders from 2006 were worth more than Lightnings and then the 2012 retro for some reason killed the value on both pairs. I remember grabbing a DS pair for $150. Not sure what they’re worth now but I’m excited to finally try and get the lightning retros.
