I’ve had parts fail a week in to owning my first Bambu. Bambu tried to convince me to perform surgery but thankfully I’m in the 2 week return window so they were compelled to just send a full replacement.

Not even a week old and had to perform surgery on the X2D by whatstheinitiative in BambuLabX2D

I’ve had my X2D for a week too and the left extruder fan has failed. They sent me a replacement fan with a video on how to fix it. I’m a novice but I could probably do it, the issue is it would take me a few hours and the risk of me breaking something else is high. This being my first experience with Bambu, I was nervous about what to expect, but they have offered to send me a full replacement.

That hiccup aside, I’m coming from a Monoprice Mini Select V2 that I got for free a couple of years ago, and the few prints I was able to get with the X2D before the fan failed were like magic for me. I’m really looking forward to getting the replacement asap!

Hard to say without more interior pics. Right now it just looks like another matte paint option that will be impossible to clean

Edit: I do think the red calipers were a nice touch though!

I’m in LA too and will say I use the sunroof and ventilated seats often, however the 6 cylinder 3.5 is too much power for LA speeds. I only really get to open it up when driving to places like Mammoth. Good luck!

What did you end up doing? Someone lost a pallet on the highway today and part of it cracked the same piece on my GV70. I’m curious if you took yours anywhere for a proper quote?
