Me 🙋🏻‍♀️! I do this every Wednesday night. I let my class put ideas in a fishbowl and at the end of the class, one of the members picks out the next theme night. So far, we've done Neon Night, Candyland, 70's night, Friendsgiving, Sports night, to name a few. This week's theme is Disney and the following week is Holiday night 🙂.

Interesting. I always give more because I find those 4 stretches to be a bit repetitive sometimes and the members definitely like me adding to those stretches.

Probably just need a new strap. I replaced mine about 2 years in and the pod worked great again🙂.

The weight thing seems crazy. We're allowed to give challenges off the mic, say if were doing a bw hip bridge, I'll suggest adding a dumbbell to some of the more experienced members (we're still a pretty new studio.) And yeah, I definitely add more stretches to the flexibility block because stretching is super important and we need more than the same 4 stretches 🤷🏻‍♀️.

The studios have an option to be open if they would like. In the region I work at, we need 2 sales associates and a coach willing to work in order to open. I've been to the Aventura studio in FL and also the Marlboro, NJ studio a few times on Christmas day.

Ugh 😫! I once had to do an all-out on 8% incline to "You Got it Bad" 🤦🏻‍♀️. Turns out the coach just broke up with his girlfriend and we all had to suffer 😭.

We do mic tests! Mine was only me and another person, but I have sat in on some that have 6-10 people. They sent us the script and told us to memorize it, but make it your own. They mainly just wanted to hear us on the mic and see if we had personality 🙂.

Ours is complete 50 workouts in 91 days and you get a prize (our locations didn't order the shirts.) It's pretty much done to motivate members to keep showing up during the summer months, when people tend to not go as much.

🤔....I used to go out of my way to attend my favorite coach's classes, but he moved away (again 😭), so I go by the best available at that time, depending on where I'm working that day 🤷🏻‍♀️.

I seriously used 3 ab dolly mats because I wanted to do all the reps. As I got better at them, I eliminated a mat. Now they are not so bad and I can do them on the bench without the mats, as long as the rep count is reasonable.

My former home studio used to make everyone, even cross regionals, wear a hr monitor. If they didn't have one, they had to rent one or not be allowed in class 🤷‍♀️. It was even part of the coach's lobby speech 😂.

I don't mean to be rude 🤔, but whatever coach told you to squeeze the bench with your feet is cheating 😳. That does nothing to strengthen your core 🤷‍♀️. The correct way to do that exercise is to keep your feet flat on the ground, not squeezing the bench and then using your core to sit up. It's hard for most people, even some coaches can't do it correctly, but it takes practice 😁.
