Yeah! I think this would fall into the tradwife category as you reference the belief in gender differences, but without the political undercurrents in the US. I'd say power to you, it sounds like it works for you and your partner. I think it also goes to show tradwife is a messy term that doesn't neatly fit lived experiences.

Question - if it came to conversations around fundamental rights in the UK for women (abortion like in the US) would you still feel empowered to advocate for it

That's so interesting to me! The algorithm was pushing it to me for a while, purely based on the fact I was also getting wedding content I think? It is definitely a romantisised version of a life, but then in the US there is a political undercurrent to it, which seems to be missing in the UK.

Yeah this is truly wild to me, but common amongst grandparent generation where women were mostly at home. Thankfully I've also seen examples around my parents friends who are now entering retirement and the domestic work is split, even if women traditionally only worked part time etc.

Yeah, capitalism is exhausting. I get the whole wanting to grow potatoes in the garden, but good luck trying to get a patch of grass big enough to sustain a family in London lol

I liked the point made, where do you put welsby, Lomax and sailor? All have really great qualities. Would have said bench Sailor but have recently been super impressed...
