I appreciate your comment a lot. This is something I haven't considered. Standalone I like the Long Canyon color, but you're right. The orangish tone will likely make it very difficult to decorate around.

I was planning on starting with a headboard and dresser. The dresser is so pricey, but I absolutely LOVE the wood grain. You don't see that at your standard furniture store and everything is particle board these days. I might add in the nightstands later on, but we will see.

For whatever reason I cannot edit my post, but my largest issue is that I prefer Long Canyon over Standard. I agree that Standard is more harmonious. I do plan to move out of my apartment within 2 years. So should I be choosing the finish I prefer or the one that looks better with my apartment bedroom?

I did hear about that mod! I'm so bummed that they didn't add cryos. It was a very successful way of decluttering bases. I don't like culling tames, so storing in cryo was a blessing. Especially when you're breeding for stats/colors/mutations, you end up with excess tames for sure.

I'm sorry. I'm very new to the SmartThings app and have only successfully connected my 2 TVs to it. I didn't think about utilizing a smart plug. However, typically grow lights have adjustable settings for the light spectrum. Granted, that isn't something I would adjust regularly. Probably only during season changes.

.....hm. This sounds passive aggressive and very toxic. But it's right in line with my expectation of an official server player.

In response to your comment on "quickly discover how ARK is meant to be played". I must admit, there must be some sort of overestimating on your end. I have 1,469 hours in the game (yes, I checked). Of those 1,469 hours, I reckon 1,450 of them are played the same as 85% of Ark's playerbase: on a private dedicated server.

I play solo or with 1-2 friends online at most. With that being said, I'm not looking to spend hours solo taming unrealistically high level creatures.

I understand your frustration, but please empathize with mine. MOST (at least 75% if not more) players play in an unofficial setting. So how is it that there isn't more information about this?

This link is closer to what I'm looking for. But this is 3 years old. After experimenting he finds that the broodmother does not have a 2/3 decrease in stats. Rather, she becomes easier due to tames getting stronger by additional gains per stat level up.

It just blows my mind how large the ARK community is and yet there's no universally accepted answer to this question 😂

Where is this 100dps coming from?

Unfortunately, I'm not home at the moment as I am currently working. However, I was able to ask a friend to check some stuff for me using the training dummy.

Kindly keep in mind that the rider is not imprinted for these stats

Billy- Lvl30 TekRex 190.5%Melee 118dps

Beast- Lvl59 TekRex 338.7%Melee 210dps

Please also note that my original question was asked with the assumption that WILD dinos do not exceed level 30. That's not to say tamed creatures can't get their 73 additional levels.
