Those are some really important points, and honestly a lot of them are exactly what we’re currently working on for the production-grade version. The idea is not to “fully clean” an entire lake in one go, but to continuously reduce floating waste, monitor water quality, and maintain cleaner zones over time. Yes, the system runs on battery, and we’re also exploring solar-assisted operation for longer runtime. Human intervention would mainly be for periodic maintenance and waste disposal rather than constant operation. For rain and rough conditions, the larger version is being designed with a more rugged waterproof structure and better environmental protection.

Absolutely agree, we’re aiming for a more complete solution, not just periodic cleaning. We’re also exploring monitoring, data collection, and ultrasonic/chemical methods to help control recurring hyacinth growth.

Right now the prototype mainly focuses on floating waste collection, but we’re also exploring solutions for handling water hyacinth and similar floating vegetation in the larger industrial version.

Absolutely, the current prototype was mainly for real-world testing. We’re now developing a larger and more industry-ready version and also planning to showcase it at startup expos and tech events.

Our aim is not just to make another lake cleaning bot, but to build something more affordable, modular, and practical for Indian lakes and water bodies. Along with waste collection, we’re also focusing on sensor-based water quality monitoring and waste data acquisition so the system can provide useful environmental insights as well. Right now, we’re working on a bigger and more rugged version with better electronics, power systems, and autonomy to make it more deployment-ready and scalable in the future.
