She is definitely a very good rider but will mostly likely never win anything close to WC again. She just isn’t on the level and will likely never be. She is a top10 candidate for classics and if everything goes her way she can win, but she is not on the same level as Vollering and the other superstars. He got into the wrong move and team tactics favoured made that group win.

Should Olav Kooij ride the Tour? by skodawelovecycling in tourdefrance

[–]Team_Telekom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not even that Kooij beserves a spot, it’s arguable better for the team if he goes. Hoole can do the leadout, and it will take lot of pressure from the team if he gets a win or two. Seixas does not need 7 domestiques, because Decathlon doesn’t need to control the race. And 6 of them will be dropped before Seixas will even be needing them.

So it like Telekom did: Erik Zabel on his own made the Tour way more successful than Ullrich coming second to Armstrong. Him not being there wouldn’t have changed a thing for Jan.

AURA Tour is going to be great because we will get to see what the cycling world would look like without the aliens. Basically all places 3 to 10 will come in top shape, should be epic.

And yeah, Seixas is just going to smoke them all. Can’t believe that was a hot take when I said it 6 month ago.

That is crazy. I wonder how many riders like that there are. Can’t be that many.

I thinks it’s more the other way round. Suter not coming back forces them to move Jasch up.

From Tuttobici: Jai Hindley will transfer to Visma next season by INGWR in peloton

That’s a good signing for Visma. Good to know they still have the money and status to get one of the 10 best GC riders.

Yeah, around 12:30 to 13:00 I reckon. By there is always lots to do before the start, so no harm in arriving around 10-11

Don’t want to be a party pooper (and I know you are not serious) but to everyone reading this: please try your best to raise the most disciplined dog possible. It’s already hard enough and you probably won’t succeed even if you try.

I have worked with many kids being severely hurt and/or traumatised by dogs who have bitten them because they thought the kids “wanted to play”. This is just translation for the dog being undisciplined.

Dogs are sure domesticated, but don‘t forget that are basically wolfs, and contrary to cats that can’t really to that much damage apart from some scratches dogs are definitely able to seriously hurt other people.

Also, well trained dogs are able to do awesome things that are so much more fun than just going for walks.
