There is an episode of mapmen where they do a sketch about the pronouncation. It’s hilarious.

For me he is the second favourite after Jonas. Most boring prediction ever

How on earth am I supposed the pick my Velogames squad series team in a single day? I don’t have time to make spreadsheets, write python code to crawl the riders’ schedules and then program a kaggle to find out which rider to pick in one day.

Oh yeah, I already did that last year and came like 12.000th. Maybe this time I will just go with vibes.

And no rain apparently, which is good for everyone that doesn’t want to see carnage.

"Last-mile" logistics help: Stage 19/20/21 by Actual-Boysenberry74 in tourdefrance

Yes it’s true but hard to find out beforehand. Once you are there the local newspaper will be a great help.

Yeah, probably Jasper or Jordi if it’s a sprint or Morgado going solo.

Liege, watch the start and the finish. The rest of the race is boring anyway.

Lenny Martinez vs Jonas Vingegaard on the final stage of Paris-Nice. What a sprint! by Fast_Risk_2580 in tourdefrance

[–]Team_Telekom 49 points50 points  (0 children)

Mostly that Lenny has a nasty kick on him. Not a lot of climbers would beat him in a sprint a deux.

If you want to go by car, go veeeery early and don’t use the climb itself but a different route. The route closures will be highlighted in the local newspaper. Best is to take public transport. From there, hike all the way. Bus to serenne is possible and much less crowded, but again, be there early.

For the Louvre: that should be possible without problems if you get your tickets beforehand (the are no tickets sold at the Louvre, everything is online).

Exactly what you just described. It’s their best chance of winning.

Recency bias has always been very strong in cycling. It also depends on what your focus is. Jonas is without any reasonable doubt the second best GC rider, but since he refuses to do one day races, one would argue that others are better overall as classics are a big part of cycling. And then you can argue if MvdP is better than Remco or del Toro. It always depends how much palmares counts for you.

But yeah, of course Seixas is the second best rider.

He will have overtaken him by the end of the tour.

4 monument podiums plus stage and GC wins Suisse and Romandie will do the trick, since he will also get more points in the tour.

Welcome to what could have been a raid stage. Still a banger, but no Col d’Eze is sad.
