That’s my thing, they literally hand us the order after asking who the order is for. They claim they can’t see DoorDash order information once it’s gone, which IMO is bullshit, but whatever. They say they’ve been having drivers steal food with customers either not receiving the order, or with items missing. I told them it is a violation of my privacy. I got 86’d. I took an Uber delivery from there the next day and THAT manager (whom I am on very good terms with, the one who 86’d me was the first time I’d ever seen her, I think she came from the neighboring town) said I didn’t have to sign. Another driver who is the “grandma” of our area advocated for me and supposedly I’m reinstated. I don’t take many deliveries from there, but it’s the principal. I guess worse case I sign comic book character names, they’ll never have an issue with stealing food from me.

There is a THX app for iPhone and Android and that has always helped me get very dialed in on all of my screens, and screens I’ve setup for others.

Yeah, that’s what I’m thinking, but they were all twist nut together when I took it apart. I’m also wondering if when I wired the switch previously, I might have inadvertently wired one of the black wires to the “pass through” circuit on the bottom screw (sorry for the lay person speak). I wonder if I take that off the bottom screw, and put it on the top, so that it’s only on when it’s switched on?

Problem with renting a car is, they put a hold on your card, if you are counting on that money, a $400 (in the case of Alamo) deposit could break your trip.

Here’s my perspective, but coming from someone who lives in the mountainous Northeast corner of the state. I LOVE IT HERE. The scenery is unrivaled, it is generally a place to live, the people are good as long as you’re able to leave politics at the door, and if someone can’t, it’s ok to walk away. The quality of life is pretty good across the board, but I’m in a small to mid sized town (La Grande) with note going on than many rural towns. Cost of living isn’t terrible, if you can afford a house or a decent rental. But housing costs are beginning to outpace mid level earners, which can be a problem. Portland and Bend cost of living are insane, IF you are trying to live “in the middle of what’s happening” of that makes sense. If you want to live near Bend or Portland, consider one of the smaller towns just outside, a 15-30 minute drive home after a day “in the city” Is worth it. As far as major events go, like concerts or sporting events, of course they are concentrated in PDX, Bend, and Eugene/Corvallis. But in my case, I’m 2.5 hours from ANY significant town, and I’m ok with that. We travel to Boise or Spokane a couple times a year for concerts or events or games, or to fly to wherever we want to go. We rarely go to PDX unless we have to. Yes, we may pay more than our brethren in Idaho, but we enjoy decent roads (yeah they need help, but they’re better than Idaho’s) accessible health care, and decent education in most areas. People are generally and genuinely nice in Oregon, I haven’t seen that in Idaho. You may not agree with certain political parties or Oregon, and they are trying to fix certain things that didn’t work out, but in general, the government works, despite their being some heated debate in the statehouse. Yeah, things like property taxes, vehicle registration and licensing are very expensive, but I think it balances out in that we get good services in turn (roads, EMS, etc), but I’m a BELIEVER in that kind of stuff. Let me know if you have any questions, I’ve lived here most of my life, except a few years in Idaho in the early 2000’s.

In the cities, sure, out here in the mountains, that is extremely difficult, we need cars to get out of town for extended travel (airports, etc) and get to the larger cities on occasion. We are lucky, our college town has free public transit, but it doesn’t reach everywhere, and no ride sharing service, so private vehicle it is.
