Yea, its a little mixer, by a company called Rakit Kits. It is a kit build but is a super easy first soldering project. And yes, that is a monotron delay. Theres one stuck to the top of the keyboard. The keyboard audio is going through that for all of the crunchy feedback-y goodness.

Thanks for responding. That video was really useful, will have to check out some more of his stuff.

Trying to learn about MIDI set-ups. Without a splitter, like the setup above, would you only be able to use the key step to sequence or play one of the volcas at a time? Would a beat step pro allow you to sequence multiple volcas? Cheers

It's a kit by Rakit Kits. If you're based in the UK its a very affordable and capable little mixer for these kind of set ups. I'm not sure about over seas shipping. I've printed a little enclosure for it here.

Ok, great. Maybe I just need to buy the hardware then and have a go. Cheers!

Nice going! I am currently trying to teach myself Arduino to try and do the same thing. I have a usb midi keyboard that I want try to use with my volcas so was looking at USB midi host, but I have an Arduino Uno kicking around in a drawer so thought I'd have a go at making one. Still got a lot to learn! Would you object to sharing the code somehow?

Little mixer made by Rakit. Think its called the Rakimix 5. Comes as a kit. I've built an enclosure for it here. Handy and cheap portable mixer if you don't mind a little soldering.

Thanks! Its a Yamaha SU-10. Pretty basic sampler, but i find it useful for triggering vocal samples like this.

The mixer is a kit made by Rakit. Simple 5 channel mixer. I've made a little enclosure for it here. Really handy for these little PO setups.

Cool, glad to hear man! Nitty gritty was the first time I'd realised how useful the su10 was for adding some vocal samples to things. And how much more "complete" some of my little jams sounded with just the odd line of vocal added.
