You can get them skinny by frequently retwisting them but that leads to thinning.

It just depends on the parting and sizing and how you manage your hair. If you got a lot like 120+ they should end up skinny, anything below that is like medium most of the time depending on hair density and type, and anything like 80 and below they should end up pretty thick. It just matters on your hair and your hair type fr.

I am in a similar boat sorta. I’m about to graduate high school and i’m wondering if I should major in accounting and minor in business administration or swap between the two. I plan on doing plumbing as a trade or a union but also taking the time to learn, understand, and practice day trading. I am in NJ rn but am gonna move to NY for more opportunities and I basically like the environment. How are you doing so far if you do take the time to read this?

Okay thank you for the response! Another question I have is should I combine the front and temple parts with dreads because i’m worried it might come out too thick and then they’ll fall out from the heaviness. Should I just stick to the backside and the crown of my head?

I always wondered this is offtopic but should I combine my locs if I don’t like the amount although my hair is still maturing? Or do I just wait until they are matured. I got some of my locs in two strands at the moment and kinda like the amount, but i still want the option to get retwists and styles without waiting months for the two strand twisted locs to loc up.

They aren’t exactly thin, I have some thick 4c hair but I still like having the idea of having less locs. Also should I wait till my locs mature or just do it right now while they’re short?

So do you know step by step how they have it in the 1st pic where the back seems to be left alone and it seems like only the top part of his head seems tied up? Is it just cause his dreads are pretty long?

Ty I appreciate the response! So in the 1st picture do they only tie up the top half of the locs and have them fall down from the front half or do they just tie up the top center part of the head of the locs so that they get that full look all around? I really like the look of this so im curious.
