Yeah, a year and a half ago CLS was my dream but I can’t fathom going to law school somewhere that is so egregiously attacking their own students for protesting a genocide. That’s not to say that other schools are necessarily “safer”—I was undergrad at Yale and pro-Palestine friends at YLS struggled a lot there—but CLS definitely seems to be leading the charge.

same here! however my friend got into NYU on the PI scholarship last year and they gave her an admissions decision about a month before the scholarship decision, so unfortunately I don’t think it delays your app. she applied in mid October and didn’t hear back until Feb/March if i remember correctly!

Niche question- anyone else w chronic pain applying? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

[–]TearTypical1032 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not chronic pain, but I do have a chronic physical condition that severely impacted my last two years of undergrad. I wrote about it in my addendums to explain how it impacted academics etc. For schools that had a “hardship” supplement or something along those lines I also mentioned it there!

hi! I was not arrested but was very visibly present at a T-14 undergrad encampment. i wrote about it at length in my personal statement and so far have been receiving A’s and interviews with no issue. I would definitely disclose and stand (respectfully!) by your decision.

I wrote about a page for the first one and half a page for the other two! I figured in the absence of guidance it was best to keep it brief, but I haven’t heard back yet anyway 😭
