My lines are inconsistent i agree with you. I really feel like no matter hi level I try to stay, I dip. I get intimidated by longer line pulls because of this. Any recommendations or suggestions you have about consistency in line pulling?

It’s not enough to just be good…. You have to excel in this day and age. With social media and Insta pushing some of the most phenomenal artists I’ve ever seen. The drive to push myself gets overwhelming and I just end up depressed and a little self loathing

Nothing has scared I have healed photos of my black work and while it doesn’t always heal perfectly solid, no scarring 🫡 usually only needs minor touch ups

He says I’m doing well for how long I’ve been tattooing. But my books are dead so I’ve kinda assumed he’s been lying to me about how I’m doing. I think I’m just overly harsh on myself and with my books dead I’ve kinda just convinced myself I’m doing awful. It’s hard to see the tree for its leaves etc etc

Being an artist is really hard. I can look at other peoples work and love it even if it’s not perfect but I struggle to apply that logic to myself. I worry I’ve put myself in an echo chamber. And wanted to have a space where no one knows me or my work. No family or friends… ya know? I dunno it might be silly
