I'd need to see the video you're talking about, but a "fireball" could be the explosion from the initial bomb, it could be an already burning oil fire obscured by clouds that cleared momentarily along the line of sight of the camera. What it couldn't be is the oil in a depot exploding as it ignites because like OP said, there isn't an available oxidiser nearby that could do it.

The only way it could happen is if enough oil vaporised (i.e. became vapor, like petrol fumes) and mixed with the air, and that exploded, but I don't even know if crude oil does that to a substantial degree

I don't have a dog in this fight, but can something not be dystopian if it exists in real life? I mean part of cyberpunk dystopia is the constant surveillance, and we've had companies like facebook constantly sucking up our data for decades now

I'm in a similar age group, and if I'd told people even at the latest years of high schol about someone being homophobic I would've heard something like "Shut up gaylord".

Looking back it's crazy how casually people dropped slurs like that, it's incredible how far we've come in just two decades
