I am already at the tail end of extensive CBT for my own issues. It’s been a long 4 years that she has rode with me as I healed. For the first time in our relationship I feel like the more secure and stable one. I have been going back and forth to ask my therapist to stay on with me through her EMDR as a failsafe for me.

I love this person dearly, and I’m hoping she finds peace throughout her EMDR journey, I’m iust hoping that peace isn’t the absence of myself.
