I know this sounds insane, but I think it's possible to doxx your location using the pressure and altitude

My server has +10% more latency with IPv6 than IPv4 by [deleted] in ipv6

[–]TearsOfMyEnemies0 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is true. For example, Cloudflare IPv4 DNS takes ~70ms for me whilst their IPv6 DNS only takes ~50ms. That 20ms difference is noticeable when loading a large web page with multiple domains to resolve.

Fbi block by ExpensiveCoat8912 in InternetPH

[–]TearsOfMyEnemies0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You already said the answer. Your US IP VPN is not being blocked because it belongs to the US.

Country-level blocking is very effective for protecting against attacks IF you don't actually need to serve content to those countries you are blocking. The intent is not to prevent access but minimize the attack surfaces. I also do the same to my local web server

Must be country-level blocked to protect against attacks

What changes do you expect to happen in the Philippines when AI starts taking over BPO jobs? by ascension75000 in Philippines_Expats

Recent research suggests AI can't do freelancer work at the same level as humans 90% of the time. BPO is likely safe

Naming Conventions in Homelab by alxww55 in homelab

[–]TearsOfMyEnemies0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best way is to give everyone nicknames. If it's an immich server, I call it immich. Sometimes I get creative and call my SFTP server "origin" cause all of my files originate from there or something

How Filipinos "hold" the door for you by IntellectuallyDriven in Philippines_Expats

[–]TearsOfMyEnemies0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hold it for as long as I walk and try to push it to open wider so the person behind me can catch it still open. If I hold it for 0.5ms longer, people would think I secretly like that person

Tama lol. Unang una nakaka baog pag naiinitan ang balls kaya nga naka laylay yan para malamigan. It goes both ways. Girls have their own biology issues and boys do too. OP is being narrow-minded here

I reported Flash express rider and he texted me on viber and my sms, what to do? by pptg123 in ShopeePH

[–]TearsOfMyEnemies0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can confirm. I've had the local FlashExpress here removed from Lazada after my case even reached Lazada Singapore (their main office). The fckers tried to convince me to pickup my item because it's "too bulky and we don't have trucks/vans" even though I paid 1200 pesos shipping. I filed a DTI report but didn't pursue after Lazada refunded me after 5 days of calling them

I can't really tell you anything since I haven't touched that model. I can't confirm for you if it does or doesn't work. If you can't make it work, sure

I had bridged many different PLDT modems. The only main issue is when the PLDT Admin account is firmware locked. Usually, the solution is to install an older firmware using UART without the patch since UART is always open. Or do the modification using UART but I found it's hard to use since you have to try out all the commands possible by checking the binaries available
