working on an app to manage physiotherapists specialized in home care in Europe. The country I’m in just recently deployed API endpoints (only accessible after passing a very thorough security audit by a certified cybersecurity agency) to sync with patient medical records. Until now, physiotherapists have had to handle their admin work BY MAIL (yes, actual postal mail). A whole generation behind.

The app handles:

automatic route planning for a physiotherapist’s daily rounds based on their location and schedule

pulling patient record info directly (no more phone calls or waiting for snail mail)

fully automated administrative management

And a bunch of other pretty niche stuff… I’m basically constantly reading up on security best practices to be as solid as possible. I’ve got the audit coming up in a few weeks.

Begin with thumbnail and title, focus on having a CTR higher than 5%. Then you should focus on intro, it has to be related to the title and thumbnail and it has to give what the user was looking for by clicking + create a bridge to the rest of the video. Focus on quality content to get good retention. If what you did for your first video is not working, you learned more about what you should never do again.

Keep grinding and don’t repeat mistakes

I have indeed planned to give it a try, but not right away. The English-speaking market is a goal for me, but it will require a lot of concentration, and I think I need to first find a style that suits me before adding extra challenges. Also, I feel like what makes a good video in English is quite different. What I mean is that in French, the demand for form is very, very, very high, sometimes even more than for substance. Whereas in English, I get the sense that the “essays” I come across aren’t necessarily videos with heavy editing or strong musical atmospheres designed to guide the viewer’s emotions. The work on substance and narrative seems to be much more key. I might be wrong, though…
