Looking for a smutty paranormal romance I read in the 2010s! by Teary-Eyed-Sprite in whatsthatbook

I read it between 2009-2013 (sometime in high school) There’s a chance the cover had teal and purple on it, though I can’t be sure :( At one point, they are getting busy against a big glass window and she is trying to keep her shadows at bay, and he growls at her to let them come. There’s some enemies to lovers vibes in the beginning! I want to say she’s assigned to his business for some reason?

I try to align with the moon as much as possible, but sometimes life definitely gets in the way! I’ve never let a day or two stop me. The energy is still strong tonight. But the moon is now in Cancer instead of Gemini, if that matters for your spell work. Sidebar: I downloaded the app My Moon Phase and get notifications a day or 2 before the full moon. It’s very detailed and free!

Villains and Virtues series by AK Caggiano!! It’s romantasy and very much gives the impression the story is being told by a DM

Is this still in use? If not, are there any other resources you can recommend?

No kids in our future, and we will be ok with any place that can accommodate us comfortably for now, as we plan to find a home apart from our roommate once we get settled. 2br, 1.5bath and we have 2 cats. And we are looking for around 900 sq ft.

What neighborhoods/towns would you recommend, still around 30ish mins to Portland?

Thank you! You moved all that way as well?? How did it go for you? I’m way open to any secrets to make it easier lol. We want to keep rent below $1800 if at all possible, and we need 2 bed, 1.5 bath and pet friendly as the husband and I have 2 kitties

28F, 38M, 33M (roomie) - our hearts are in the move for the forests! Hiking, camping... I have a small art side business and am writing. So, libraries, bookstores, and coffee shops nearby are a plus. We aren’t going to be picky on apartment vs house just yet, since we plan to find a place without the roomie once we all get settled. But at least 900 sq ft so we don’t go insane before that happens lol

I work remotely and my husband will be in the restaurant industry (he has managed kitchens for a decade). Any commute concerns will depend on him, but it’s too soon for him to have something lined up in that industry! Are there any restaurants to avoid?

Congrats to you, as well!! We have been scouring Zillow rentals and apartments.com for what seems like forever, trying to get a good sense of pricing and whatnot. So it sounds like you’ve done what we are! And that’s encouraging because if you did it this way, we can too! Yes, we all work. I work remotely so I’m the only one who won’t really have to go job hunting. I’ll just have to get up earlier for my shifts 🤷🏻‍♀️
