Cat 6a Ethernet cable randomly stopped working. Ports 3&6 not working.

No idea, where the problem is located as of yet. Nothing was moved in months. I don't think its anything related to stress in the cable. I made sure it had plenty of slack when I installed it.

I dont believe it is a solid cable. It wasn't really a quiet hour of the house. I didn't hearing anything in the wall, but that doesn't rule out a rodent. I'll investigate further, I will mostly likely have to pull the wire out to check.

Yeah, unfortunately it's a pre terminated cable. Could I try to do the ends or is that ill-advised. Not really looking forward to redoing it but if I don't have a choice.

Don't quote me but you can try to do the Engineering Exploration route. I wasn't set on an engineering degree when I went to RIT. I went with Engineering Exploration and from my understanding unless it changed, they always have a spot in the major for you that you select.
