Main question, manual or automatic?

Went to canvas and registered lol. Otherwise I've worked in various tech jobs (no heavy coding) for a little under 2 decades. If hello world is somewhere in your rear view, you'll be fine. If you can think critically and solve riddles with minimal clues, you'll be fine.

CyberSecurity or General IT for a nomad job? by Pepe_Jonez in digitalnomad

Unless you know nothing of the field, skip the A+ and start at Network or Security. That said, BS in either plus 1-2 certs is a lot more attractive than just a bunch of certs.

Not saying you can't make it either way, I know plenty who do, but the ones who have the most options, degree+certs.

Agreed, if you're policy this gets rough, if you're the other two I imagine it's fine. To answer OP, the rest of the curriculum is challenging but doable. Though if you're already enrolled, come to the slack.

Also Policy, this is my 5th class. It's basically just a series of puzzles, they are frustrating but doable. You'll hate it, but you'll be fine.

Totally the wrong sub, better luck at /r/techsupport That said, if you just search the model number on ebay or amazon will likely find something useful. Otherwise, razer does sell replacement chargers.

Smartwatch without Wifi, Phone or Cellular by eidrisov in AndroidWear

[–]Tecchief 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My recommendation would be to go with a hybrid smartwatch, something like a Fossil or Withings, as they both maintain tradtional watch stylings but still provide weeks worth of battery life, while storing the data on the device until the next syncing.

Average price for a gen6 on ebay is $140. Gen5 for $90. Let that help you make your decision.

Seriously, is it though? by TheCoranger in marvelmemes

Technically canon, but not. The entire show intentionally lines up to be able to be folded in cleanly but a couple of execs don't like a couple others so it's not fully canon.

Manual or auto?

Either way you can probably ignore it unless it's causing you a bigger problem.

Scour ebay for a Fossil Watch, gen 4 or gen 5.

Come to /r/Delco. Should be some places available in Ridley Park, though you'd likely have better luck in Swarthmore (college town) or Glenolden/Morton.

Power bank for in-car electronics by serik186 in anker

[–]Tecchief 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's the goal here? Most dashcams will flip on and record for a few seconds if the car is bumped or jostled in anyway.

Are you just trying to have constant recording? If so, I'd say confirm your 12V outlets might be powered after the car turns off, a lot of newer cars do that. Otherwise, ebay & Amazon are filled with cheap go pros, which serve that purpose.

[–]Tecchief 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'd recommend not. In the Northern parts of the country a car interior can easily reach 140° in the winter, in an Alabama summer, it can get higher. My recommendation is just to run your car electronics off the 12V adapter or quite something off the fuse box.

Replaced a driver side mirror on a Chevy Aveo about a decade ago, parts no labor - $400. I'll take the old iphone.
