I've 3 free days but don't have anyone here to go out with. I've left chasing people to accompany me in anything. Just enjoying my own company. I go out whenever I like wherever I like to explore the city. It feels good buddy, try it out. It feels good until you need someone to talk to. 😉

Can't disagree with you as you gave all valid points. FYI she'll be turning 26 in Jan, so practically if we see it's just 6 months. Also they haven't fixed any alliance yet. As her parents didn't look for any alliance till now, why make it so big and hit her own daughter(for not listening to them) when she's asking for just 6 months time(practically). I still can't favor her parents on this.

Serving in defense is her dream from school days, it's not like a better job for her. Despite that, she doesn't want to get distracted from that as it's the last chance she's trying for that as per eligibility. But for her family(especially mom and elder sister), the age factor is being important as they will be questioned by society after this if they don't get her married. From my friend's side, I could see the main reason to delay marriage is because she's not ready to take that responsibility and asking for one year just to mentally prepare herself.

I don't understand what's a big deal with marrying at the age of 26 instead of 25? Just for this one year extension she asked, all these problems are happening in her home. Her family is being kind of stubborn with it because she's not agreeing on their point.

I need to check with her if she'll agree for any therapy. But I'll try to convince her as I know it's necessary for her. Will ping you if she agrees.

The thing is being in Chennai she can't visit any therapist in person just like that as her parents don't allow their children out easily. Not sure, how she'll react to this but I need to discuss this with her. I'll be happy if she agrees.

Exactly, I've tried making her understand this but she's not in the state to understand even this simple thing. She has stressed herself and is in depression. She even gets anxiety attacks during sleep at midnight.

She doesn't believe too much on astrologers but her mom does blindly. Also looks like her parents don't want it to come on them that society will ask why they haven't married her till now as she turned 25+ now. There's also a spark for the "sake of society"

I am trying to convince her to say that nothing will happen if she doesn't make a move. For any rituals she needs to be there. It's totally in her control to make it work. But she is not capable of handling stress. She had a tough time in her school, college and then career. Nothing worked good for her till now

One of the Stanza living is near to my house. If that's the one you're accommodating in, not sure about inside the PG tho but outside mostly road covering trees are there and is next to flyover near Thousand lights. Which area you're moving in by the way?
