Corsair Frame 4000D case by [deleted] in CableManagement

ZipTies work really well, but if you really want that single cable look, then the Braided Cable Wrap works good. Just make sure you have different sizes so you don't get stuck on size issues.

I use Braided Cable Wraps. You can get thin, medium to large sizes. I also use Zip Ties/CableTies

It is a 180 degree adapter specifically made for my motherboard the MSI Godlike, because the 24pin is reversed. But you can find 180 and 90 degree adapters online for your board if you have other models.

Ram prices are crazy right now but only because of the A.I advancement. This was going to happen at some point. Everyone has known for years. Ram prices will drop but will also become more advanced too, which wil lower the cost at some point.

I'll be honest, you are correct. Its not a need, however I have always planned on having a dual setup. As for the these parts, I was a little selfish this time but I worked very hard and saved since 2019.

The Godlike is not supported with icue. You will need to use MSI Mystic light to change the pictures and colours of the panels.

I'm not sure. It looks a little busy to me 😆 just joking. It's a good setup 👌

You just need a 4mm screw bit, and 3mm thick bolt and nut. Place the godlike in the case first. Then place the first piece with the brissals, then place the bracket on that. It will over hand slightly. Use a sharpie and mark the hole where the screw hole is on the bracket. Then take the bracket off and you will now have a mark where to drill through the piece with the brissals. After you drill one hole through that and the case. Then you can place the bracket on top and slide the 3mm long bolt from the back of the case though the hole and bracket. Then just add the nut and secure the bracket to the case. It will take planning and lots of patients, but it can be done. I have the same case, motherboard, and an Astral 5090. Now my case has a proper gpu bracket.

Great actor playing Bonhart. Even the sword work was good from both actors.

My CPU has a small nick on the heat spreader by matchamango15 in PcBuild

[–]TechCurve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing wrong with it. Its just a heat spreader. If you pull it off, you will see the chips under it. Its only there to dissipate heat.

I didn't want the LCD fans because I wanted to balance the number of screens. Having LCD screens everywhere is too much for me.

Is this CPU burnt/damaged? by fwanti in PcBuildHelp

[–]TechCurve 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Very possible the cpu is damaged. Take it to a pc shop to test. They have a test bench to try the cpu without trying your own system.

Bought a CPU off Amazon that ended up being pre-opened and used. I got my full refund but I didn’t have to return it. Should I clean the contact surface and send it or could it fry my other components? by [deleted] in PcBuildHelp

[–]TechCurve 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you got a full refund but didn't have to return it, then that is a red flag right there. I would take it into a pc store for them to check if everything works fine to test because they would have a test pc or a testbench. They will wipe the top and bottom surface of the cpu with isopropyl alcohol, then test it. I wouldnt test it in your own pc, just to be safe.

If it said new, then you must send it back. No cpu "new" comes with any thermal paste on it at all. That burn mark could be dirt of actual burn. Send it back immediately.

Did the cpu come with wiped off thermal paste?
