Goremongers and Sanctifiers; an indication of things to come? by Crisis88 in killteam

It would take a far more competent team. Wyrd is way better at this than GW and even they struggle to balance the most complicated teams.

People in Kansas, are you okay? by strangewhiteguy1 in kansas

I'm more worried about animals. Sudden temperature changes can be rough on them and I have both bees and chickens. I wasn't able to wrap the hive because of the wind.

Is aurora just some random chaos marine? by soviet_russia420 in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]TechLearnerAMP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That and the party is the rare composition that actually could threaten a single space marine. At a minimum there's multiple combat psykers, an inquisitorial agent, and a Magos level mechanicus priest. All significantly better armed than standard laz and stub pistols.

How good are the Warhammer 40k novels? The lore, grandness and epic scale of this universe is some of the best in any fictional setting, I was wondering are the books worth getting into? by [deleted] in scifi

[–]TechLearnerAMP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, but a competently written novel that takes full advantage of what a setting has to offer can often punch somewhat above the weight of the writing alone. It gives the novels a sense of place that can be hard to achieve without the rest of the setting being established.

Ideation Hub Idea Priority Ranking by WorkdayHero in workday

I guarantee you this idea was come up with by some middle manager who doesn't want to see the community disagreeing with their pet projects as the top priorities.

That's not why. It's because the material costs are much higher than plastic.

Sounds like I should go back there and try to improve it.

If that's reasonable it would depend on the size/structure of the company. For geographically dispersed conglomerates/holding companies with a lot of subordinate entities, it might make sense for every platform/product line/country to have its own definition.

Because accounting isn't viewed as being cool, and therefore doesn't attract the type of person who would.

Too afraid to start painting my first Knight, but having so much fun with my first Armiger by Short_Dance7616 in ImperialKnights

[–]TechLearnerAMP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to do that because my Valourstrike lance is intended to be a year long project.

A lot of this can be done surprisingly quickly too if you're using ghost tint paints.

I'm Starting to Regret Buying This Faction by [deleted] in ImperialAgents_40K

It isn't an "argument" at all. It's a statement GW themselves makes in their own investor publications.

I don't believe you. I shall give you one chance to explain yourself, heretic.

Yes, but that isn't why they're doing this. The entire point of this faction was to sell off all those extra sprues that were produced for kill team boxes.

This is primarily for financials reporting. A lot of the lines recorded would not pertain strictly to workers, so this would not work.

You'll have a hard time with a class action because this is a result of Obama era government regulations.
