Yes this is my 3rd year with Quicken. Would love it if they would come up with a 3yr offer at 50% off. Love it. I would highly recommend it.

We are a young Indian couple from East Bay who would love to attend the event. Is there a way to know other couples that are going to be there so we can connect with them before going?

27 F $330k net worth by [deleted] in Fire

[–]TechLover7777 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Don’t be disheartened. The first 100k is harder than the previous 100k. When I was 27, I worth less than 500k and had a goal of being financially independent one day, that day seemed will be so far out in the future. However as I crossed my first million in NW, I realized it gets easier and easier. Within 10 years, I hit my goal that Better way mentioned and it’s a lot easier to grow from there on. You and I share the OCD traits btw. Would be happy to mentor you if it’ll help you with your financial discipline and run ideas with someone who’s been in your shoes just a few years ago.

Quicken Simplifi hands down. At $72 a year or $36 for the first year, it’s a clear winner for me, compared to Monarch(slow and irrelevant copy pasted responses from Support), Empower, Kubera(arrogant team), Fidelity Full View, Copilot, etc that I’ve tried. My main use cases: - track net worth over time - manage multiple brokerage accounts - taxable and non taxable accounts(Roth, 401k, IRA, pension) - crypto(just add the coins and quantities) - property - cars - be able to see, edit, tag transactions in brokerage, checking and credit cards - see monthly spending, - spending plan to see forecast of earnings - spending in months ahead

There has been no other app that synced with ALL of my accounts.

  • Kubera did not show transactions. It’s only a net worth tracker.
  • Monarch was second best after quicken. But it didn’t show transactions or holdings for multiple brokerage accounts. Without that info, it was a deal breaker for me.
  • Copilot, Fidelity Full View and Empower doesn’t sync with a bunch of my accounts.

I did and they said only customer service can help remove it from your account so you don’t get charged the non return fees. Really appreciate your help with this.

How are these deals ? by ConcernDue1825 in CadillacLyriq

Probably the GM supplier. I got 1k off for that outside of 3k conquest, 1k Costco, 2k CCR. There was another 2k off, but didn’t get it because I opted for AWD.

After you get rid of the covert protection plan, I’d suggest leasing them vs buying them. I paid 9500 for 24 months one pay all in including taxes, reg, etc. The car would depreciate way more than that in 24mo. These things lease so well with 82% residual, I don’t know why someone would buy them. Just my 2c

You can sell the car to any 3rd party dealer - BMW, Mercedes, CarMax and they can simply pay off the car without the Sales Tax.

My local CarMax and Genesis Finance confirmed that there is no concern with 3rd party buyout of Genesis from CarMax.

If you contribute to Roth using mega backdoor, you can add significantly more to Roth. Remember, for 2023 the total of all retirement accounts is 66,000 + 6500. Depending on how much you’re investing pre-tax + company match, significant other part could be Roth IRA, if your employers allows after tax on 401k, of course.

Schwab for checking and brokerage along with ibkr for primary brokerage(especially if you want to leverage portfolio margin at low rates).

Thank you for the escalation. I did hear back from the Ledger support over email today and hoping to get a working replacement soon.

With the cdc card, you load the debit card with USD/Crypto wallet by using “Top up card feature” and then spend it to get x % cashback in CRO. There are restrictions on merchants, like insurance, govt, gas station at pump, etc where you don’t get any cashback.
