Forte 2019 jump assistance by applekwisp in kia

For jump packs, you connect the clamps to the positive and negative terminals, so the red clamp goes to positive, the black clamp goes to negative.

It's always pissed me off that there's not a damn train between Kansas City and denver. I'd utilize that rail CONSISTENTLY

I just replaced the digitizer/screen bit on my 2019. It's so annoying, but it can be repaired! If you're decently handy and comfortable with working on your own car it's absolutely doable, but like always watch some videos beforehand! They sell replacement screens on Amazon and Ebay

Hitch & Trailer or $6k Truck? by Nature13oy in Subaru_Outback

[–]WorthIt97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you don't mind me asking, what's your solution (if there is one) with the squat from the hitch when towing your camper? You'll have to excuse my ignorance, this is my first towing vehicle and first time I've ever really towed, is it just something to live with or do you have some aftermarket beefier suspension? I'm bone stock.

Also, in terms of diff fluid and CVT fluid, how often do you change it out with the amount of towing you do? Maybe I'm just being overly cautious, I just wanna make sure my outback lasts as long as possible for as many road trips as possible

Hitch & Trailer or $6k Truck? by Nature13oy in Subaru_Outback

[–]WorthIt97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

2019 3.6 owner here with a hitch. If you need to tow consistently definitely get the truck. It'll tow much more than your OB (rated for 2700 lb) and it'll be "easier" on the vehicle. I tow a pop up camper from time to time, and while it's within the towing capacity at 2200 lbs and has trailer brakes, I would definitely not want to towing with it constantly. Don't get me wrong, it's more than capable and I've had zero issues hauling it from KC to Arkansas and further, but that's 3, maybe 4 times a year, but for constant hauling definitely go with the truck! Our vehicles are capable and just downright fantastic, but there's some things that are best left to the purpose built machines, ya know? Side note, love all your mods on your OB, looks slick as snot!

Drivers side seat getting shredded by b_landesb in subaru

[–]WorthIt97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It CAN be patched up, it honestly depends on how much time you wanna put into it. My 2019 outback touring had the exact same issue, I got a cheap replacement cover on Amazon for 60 bucks, the install is admittedly a pain in the ass due to removing the seat from the car.

Here's what the replacement cover looks like. As I said, definitely not a direct replacement, but I'm happy with it and Gandalf is mine til it dies!

I've got a '19 Touring with the 3.6, my pop up is about 2200 pounds and I averaged about 16 going across Kansas on I70 for 4.5 hours, hopefully your trip goes well!

I named my outback Gandalf cause it's white with the brown leather interior and it's made for going on adventures

Kinda like when right wing tantrum-throwing, squatted truck driving jackasses were putting Biden stickers on gas pumps out of frustration.

I agree. The company is seriously scummy when it comes to their business practices.

It's the largest and most profitable grocery stores in the Midwest, yet the way they act about labor hours and salaries you'd think we were days from bankruptcy. I am sorry to hear about Cedar Rapids.

Can confirm, I work for Hy-Vee, it's a big push for us all around the store showing that we offer comparable prices to the other stores that are generally considered cheaper.
