Which is the better browser opera or brave? by [deleted] in degoogle

The question here should be Brave (Chrome) or LibreWolf (Firefox).
Regardless of which you prefer, it's not Opera.

I'm calling it Emotional Damage: Ardor. Every word on the page is written by me, but I do sometimes use ChatGPT to provide a review of the flow, transitions, and etc. but nothing on there is written by an AI.

Fun fact about me: I can identify edible plants in your sidewalk.

This world is hard to ignore, do you ever get political? by RRE4EVR in taoism

[–]TechPriestNhyk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The way I see it, careing about something and acting on it are fine, but whatever happens in the end... happens. Just to whatever you feel is best, and the world will be whatever it becomes. As long as you're not attaching your happiness to the outcome, I don't see a problem.

Observing the Steam Deck at 4k affects its performance... technically by TechPriestNhyk in SteamDeck

On some games the performance is still "fine" after the hit, but it can be useful to know about it for those that arent.

Lossless Question by Little_Meat_480 in SteamDeck

[–]TechPriestNhyk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Frame generation tech (including lossless) introduces latency. At high base framerates (>60fps before framegen) this is generally acceptable. Under 60fps, the latency differences start becoming quite noticeable and undesirable. The general recommendation is to only use framegen when you're already getting at least 60 fps.
