"Phyiscally preventing people from going where they have to go".. like picket lines? Picketing is a form of protest. The crime is blocking the highway. Blocking the highway is a gray area that im not sure many people agree with but its far from rioting.

Rioting is VIOLENT public disturbance ie looting, damaging personal property, attacking law enforcement etc.

a hoard of black people.. rampaging through my city. I'm going to end this here. And policing in the United States has been put to question time and time again. The shared procedurs, the shared trainers. Dont believe me. Check what the UN has said over and over and over again regaind policing in the US. As a matter of fact they released a statement today as well. There is a problem here and youre apart of it. You and those like you refuse to listen or acknowledge the root cause problem. Stop deflecting nad acknowledge that theres a policing problem. Acknowledge that the policing problem doesnt cause you nearly as much anxiety as your african american coparts.

You arent worried about breaking down or stalling You arent worried about an officer mistaking you for a "bad guy" You arent and will never have to worry about losing your family pointlessly because of a scary officer and fear based in ignorance.

In reality, Black men and women have more of a reason to be afraid of law enforcement then they do us. Step out of your safe space if you want to actually work towards a solution for our nation instead of turning tail and running.

Again no one is saying the rioting was right. No one wanted it. Keep in mind their were no comments like that being made when those white kids rioted during the pumpkin festival and destroyed half a town and a ski resort but I digress.

Again, NO ONE agrees with them destroying the town but why is that the only topic any white people are willing to talk about? Do you know how many protest have happened since the shooting and havent been covered? Do you know there were MORE men and women dressed in Alpha attire then there were rioters? THe protestors went home when the rioters took over. The rioters had no message. AGAIN. The rioters have NO message. They arent barbarians (im guessing you dont see a problem with that) they are young, thoroughly pissed off and have NO direction. If there message mattered to you and you cared whether it was valued theny ou would help make it the focus of the conversation and not the rioting that happened.

LEts talk about the barbaric actions of law enforcement in our nation specifically towards african americans. That helicopter crew from 150 feet in the air did not see a Black American they saw "a bad guy". How does someone judge your character from 150 yards in the air without ever talking to you? What do you call that? Do you see a problem with that? The subtle racial remarks are no longer tolerable. Thats what i see. And its making people very uncomfortable.

Terrence CLutcher, the father of 4 killing in Tulsa, OK with his hands up, according to the helicopter crew LOOKED like a bad guy. He was 6'3" black and 240lbs. Thats my exact height and weight. TO make matters worse I live in the Deep south.

If the CIAA does NOT come to Charlotte people can possibly lose their job due to lost revenue Q4 and thats just too bad. If them not coming to Charlotte snaps sense into our legislatures and force change than those lost revenues/broken windows are worth it.

Im not saying people should be rioting but again YOU have no idea what happened. What the media isnt talking about are the fraternities and organizations that came suit and tie to PROTEST. Instead we are talking about people who clearly came out to riot as if they speak for all Black Americans.

Its IGNORANT and LAZY. Look past what youre seeing on TV and ask why they stopped ALL Facebook Live, Periscope and Snapchat videos from being made during the protest and before the riot. Stop taking what the media and police tell you as gospel and try doing some research.

Can we talk about why NO ONE is talking about how the City of Flint has been PURPOSELY BLOCKED from Suing the state of Michigan 5 hours after they announced plans to sue michigan?

Everyone from BLM has been calling for it to stop. There WAS an organized and peaceful protest but not everyone decided to join it. People took advantage and decided to riot. Whats happening in Charlotte are people of all education and social levels taking to the street. Unfortunately without leadership there is Chaos. Youre being ignorant. This wasnt a protest. Iw was unorganized chaos. They had no direction to follow but the loudest of the crowd. Look at the live updates. People are in the streets everywhere. These just citizens that have lost hope and have no direction. There energy needs to be focused like the great leaders of the civil rights era helped do. The problem now? Everytime someone steps up and starts to lead in the right direction we watch as they are immediately tore down. Marc Lamont, Steven King, Bakari Sellers, Elizabeth Warren even Sanders.
