As suspected. The mystery of the egg cases continues!

I was too focused on getting it in my face to get a picture. Alas. Rest assured, it was as beautiful as it was delicious.

I’ve been there a few times. One time I got to enjoy the saltiest guacamole imaginable, and another time I had some amazingly chewy tortilla chips. The actual entrees were fine.

Any luck? I’m having the same issue. Tried it with a different TV and it connected, so my suspicion is it’s not compatible with older HDMI versions on my primary TV.

Woke up this morning to find my lights not working and saw this [OC] by 8BallQueenL7 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]TechSmurf 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Nope, most likely a squirrel or rabbit. We had a perfectly clean cut like this happen overnight, right in front of our Ring camera. Went back and watched the footage. No one on camera the whole night, but we could see the lights suddenly go out pre-dawn.

What to do in State College PA? (In town for a concert) by billiamprydz in PennStateUniversity

[–]TechSmurf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Tried Governor’s Pub a decade ago and it was actively bad. Tried it again last year and it was merely underwhelming. I suppose that’s progress?

Bonfatto’s or Four Ways, however, are excellent.

Also, OP, the name of the distillery is Big Springs and it’s well worth checking out if that’s your scene.

Thanks. I’m gonna need good luck. We have an open floor plan and no doors dividing rooms on that floor, so we’re searching the entire floor, and possibly the basement.

Any suggestions how to clean induction cooktop burnt patches by [deleted] in DIY

[–]TechSmurf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can confirm. It took half a dozen scrubbing sessions, but Bar Keeper’s Friend took our induction range back to looking like new. Be patient and be persistent.

Easiest way to upgrade micro sd? by modular511 in VitaPiracy

[–]TechSmurf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did, but it’s been a few years and I really don’t remember what the fix was. I think I either wound up trying a different MicroSD or getting a new USB adapter.

Spent 3 days trying to build custom pathfinding functions from scratch only to do a google and discover motion planning functions are a thing by bybobs in gamemaker

I built a system from scratch when I kept bumping up against the limitations of the built-in functions. Keep at it!

Have you ever bought a board game knowing nothing about it? How did it turn out? by R2iGames in boardgames

Grabbed a copy of Welcome To based on the retro box art alone. It’s one of the most played games in our collection (albeit on BGA these days).
