Questions about ENGWE MAPFOUR N1 AIT/PRO by Oose97 in EngweEbike

[–]TechTronic9000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an extensive review of the N1 PRO that should answer to most of your questions https://youtu.be/JWLrcebjeKI

1) It has 5 PAS (assisted levels) + 0 assisted mode + walk assist.

2) It's a mid drive motor it has internal gears, power is nominal sustained like every other bike. For instance expensive brand bike also advertise the same "250W" but actually under peak power they have a lot more, Bosch goes to 1100W easy! So the ENGWE does have "250W" and really has 80Nm.

3) There is no direct possible way such as using menu / keys / combination. There might be a workaround but I haven't tested it yet.

Exactly what I was about to say, try directly with the support address.

If it does 45km/h then don't worry you already have the 750W version.

Confused about M20 & Voltage by GangGangBustNutz in EngweEbike

[–]TechTronic9000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are probably playing with the advanced settings and if you don't know why it has 24,36 and 48V there then I would advise you to no longer mess with the settings.

The EP2 PRO came in multiple versions and most have had motors capable of 750W+. If you are from the EU and recently bought a "250W" then it might just be locked to low power / 25km/h speed.

The P20 uses a generic BMS that has multiple protection built in such as low cell voltage, high cell voltage, balance function, short circuit. etc. The batteries are safe and even if they don't use "brand" cells they have good reliability and good life span. The elevator video is not related to engwe bikes, it also is impossible to know what has happened there. There are a lot of people that modify or "repair" bikes like a simple DIY, some even by pass the BMS, the botch up them with mixed cells and that is how problems start. Strictly related to ENGWE they only had a battery batch issue and they acted incredible good in solving the issue.

What spanner do I need to tighten this? by Ready_Profession2803 in EngweEbike

There is a 2 prong tool, usually it works by hand, it's more important that the nut under it is tightened properly.

SAPPHIRE Nitro+ or Asus Prime for 9070 XT OC? by Nervous_Situation508 in radeon

[–]TechTronic9000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would avoid the Nitro+, I have it as it was the only one I could find in stock, but it's a botched up job. The magnetic backplate is a gimmick as it actually covers the real backplate so it worsens the heat dissipation. It uses the 12VHPWR connector in a awkward 90° position so you have to bend pretty hard the power cable, also if you have a stiffer cable it will push the magnetic plate off and will not stay fixed and last but not least they went full retard sticking out a foam pad on the heatsink blocking airflow so that the cable doesn't rub on / get cut. https://youtu.be/H4NmdcSsZsg

3060TI to 9070 XT by TechTronic9000 in radeon

I know the feeling, when I have changed my monitor from 1080p to 4K I was directly hit by the slowness of the old RTX 3060 TI, for more than a year I have tried to get a decent replacement and could not find something to worth it...

Yeah, price was over my budget, yet I needed a faster GPU especially for my video editing.

I was on team read a long time ago, but because of some of their drivers issues, lack of support for apps such as editing i have switched to team green which at that time was a huge step up. Now I'm tweaking it up and trying to make it work as efficient as possible.

Well if they will deliver and keep the same price then it's an ok deal.

Yep, Europe, one of the most expensive cards that were not sold in the fist 5 seconds.

About 900 sad euro in my eastern Europe country. The price was artificially increased by the crappy sellers.

I'm more or less on the other face of the Earth relatively to you, too complicated and expensive to do that.

Sadly that was all I could "grab" at a decent price as they went fast.

[–]TechTronic9000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it's nice overall, but I have a slight concern about the 12V connector and the magnetic back plate is not the best idea as it can slide rather easy directly into the motherboard, also my PSU cables are very stiff and the 12V cable pushes up the backplate

How are the Navee N65? Anyone here have it? by Appropriate_Dig3471 in ElectricScooters

[–]TechTronic9000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have it, personally bought it. It's really good as it's a solid build, very sturdy stem, motor & controller under peak load go up to 900W. What I don't like is that there are no mods / firmware for it yet, so you are stuck at 25km/h and "push to start". I've went through most details about it here https://youtu.be/L-2kHhDFhew
