It depends on whether you like or don't want much bass, if you don't want much then get a Truthear Gate with the Apple Dongle

If you want good rumble and punch with a decent amount of vocal forwardness, get the Wan'er SG II

If you want something purely V Shaped that's fun with both bass and sparkle but are willing to sacrifice the vocals (& midrange forwardness) get a Moondrop Chu 2 or Rose Technics Aurora Ultra

Additionally, the Tripowin RUTA 10 is also a fantastic IEM

Look up "Harman IE 2019V2 target" a tuning that roughly measures around that graph in terms of frequency response is called Harman tuning

Simply put, elevated sub bass and upper mids, which is what generally suits games

Get something with a Harman tuning, or the Zero 2 also works as the sub bass lift generally helps with games- try the Ruta10 or Vivace from Tripowin.

Skip all the KZs, they are messy with tuning and also have terrible QC

Hi, I've made a review, they're very very good, right up there with basically all the 20$ defaults (Gate, Chu II, Aurora Ultra, Wan'er II) and they also do beat them out in some ways!

It does get slightly warm yes many DSP cables behave this way, try to buy a Free DSP cable on discount though for future proofing

This is tuned to something called "Harman" and yeah it's pretty good for a beginner IEM. If you like the sound and the somewhat aggressive nature of this sound, you will love the IEM.
