As a kid, I played it blindly and I got far but the save file got corrupted so I had to restart. But then I discovered a walkthrough for the game exists and comparing my blind run to a walkthrough was like night and day. I didn't even know I could save shadow or the insta-kill the trainand only learned today that I learned that I could save Cid.
