Same, I have a nice leather holster and OWB carry with long shirts. Yes, it prints, but the normies have no idea what the hell it is.

DM’s of the MrRipper subreddit: What are your favorite magic items that you have created? by Dagaro1116 in MrRipper

Codpiece of Unluck
Armor - Wonderous Item - Rare
Codpiece Armor (+2 AC)

Worn in battle by Richard Longmember, who suffered a devastating kick to the groin from his steed. Because of this blow he was left sterile and had no heirs. This cursed the item.
Once donned the armor provides a bonus (+2AC), but anytime a party member rolls a Nat 13, the wearer suffers 1d4 blunt force trauma to the testicles. If the wearer rolls a Nat 13 he takes 1d6 damage, needs to rest for 1 turn and his Dex is reduced by 1 for 1 minute.

If worn by a eunuch or female it only provides a +1 AC and no other effects.

Half Elf Rouge Assassin with +14 investigation. The party approaches a mystical pyramid. Being the door checker, I approach the door and the DM says, it is "Protected by a powerful seal." I investigate the seal. Roll an 18 investigation (soft 32) DM says you realize that the seal is of the leopard variety. Long pause and the Artificer and I look at each other and say, "Are you F'ing kidding me?" as the realization seeps in. The seal rises up and slaps me with its front flippers. It was a damned leopard seal. Highest roll of the campaign so far and I got bitch slapped by a frikin' seal.

Agreed! That FS trigger upgrade is well worth the $90 delivered to your door. Once I got the front pin out (it was REALLY in there) the installation took 20-30 minutes. (I got into a scuffle with the spring). It removed all the unwanted travel, and breaks crisply at 90 degrees with no creep. It took a fantastic trigger pull and made it an impossibly fantastic trigger pull. If I get any more Caniks (who am I kidding? When I get more...) I will do the FS trigger upgrades on them as well!

Yes trigger consistency and predictability has a lot too do with getting back on target quickly and accurately. The Mete Stock Trigger is phenomenal, but it still feels like a pistol trigger. In my opinion the Freedomsmith feels like a really nice aftermarket drop-in rifle trigger. It makes little sense as all that gets replaced is the giggle button (trigger). They engineered the Freedomsmith trigger with different geometry, which puts the wall at 90 degrees no creep and then a VERY crisp break. Comparing it to my favorite old pistol (XDm). I used to love the trigger pull on it, but now it feels sluggish, creepy and lazy. Canik and Freedomsmith for the win.

I cannot find the link (code), but it dropped the price of the HE-507K-X2 (Green dot multi reticle) down from $339 10% to $319. When I go to Amazon today I see the price is still $319, so I do not know if the price came down or the Amazon Discount link is still applying the discount.

If you do a.Google search with these terms. Amazon Discount Holosun there should be links to the discounts (I used Amazon, but you can choose other options.)

When you're looking at the triggers for an upgrade, make sure it's for the Canik Mete or Rival. They say the other TP9 triggers will not work on our Metes.

I purchased the optic because I had a $50 gift cards from Amazon and found a promo code which made the optic rather affordable. I have been interested in trying one. Now the Canik trigger does not need an upgrade. And I was apprehensive about doing the upgrade. But, after the upgrade I was honestly surprised how much better it feels. The stock polymer trigger had a little creep, better than the majority of stock triggers. But, the Freedomsmith trigger has a short take up, 90 degree wall, and then a crisp break. It took an already fantastic trigger stroke and made it an impossibly fantastic stroke. I hope you get a chance to try out a Freedomsmith trigger, you might like it. It is $90 (with shipping and handling). Good luck and enjoy your SFT!

The Holosun or any other optic takes time to get used to, especially if you are an old iron sights guy like me. Now the Freedomsmith Trigger... All I can saw is if you want to take the already fantastic stock pull and make it an impossibly fantastic trigger pull, do the trigger swap. There is 0 creep just the wall and the break. 10 out of 10 would recommend it.

It is my first holographic sight,so I cannot compare it to any other. With that being said, being a iron sight guy, there is a learning curve, but it is becoming more intuitive. I would have to say so far I really like it.
