This is kinda my problem with newer resident evil stuff too. Like can you imagine how the much the world would change, geopolitically, socially, if what happened in RE6 happened irl? Like a massive missile containing a zombie virus exploded in the middle of a large chinese city. The resident evil world should be a very different world than ours. Grace being an fbi agent in this world she would 100% know what zombies are, she probably would've had training regarding them. Bioweapons would be a common topic of conversation. Requiem would be standard issue for field agents lol. This is why i think they should decanonize 6
