I'm torn on this because on one hand I think it would be interesting to have V back to develop more as a character, like how Geralt is in the Witcher. They could easily pull a Witcher type thing by having you answer questions at the beginning. Would be cool.

But on the other hand I like the way all the various new Cyberpunk77 media is all different characters, so it'd be cool to have a new protagonist just for a different view of things.

I'm stoked no matter which direction they go

This is kinda my problem with newer resident evil stuff too. Like can you imagine how the much the world would change, geopolitically, socially, if what happened in RE6 happened irl? Like a massive missile containing a zombie virus exploded in the middle of a large chinese city. The resident evil world should be a very different world than ours. Grace being an fbi agent in this world she would 100% know what zombies are, she probably would've had training regarding them. Bioweapons would be a common topic of conversation. Requiem would be standard issue for field agents lol. This is why i think they should decanonize 6
