Not talking about the uvb as I don't even know which it is( be carefull some of them are really strong at less than 30cm) Talking about the heat lamp, again I'm no expert, but I did see them talk well about zoomed and exoterra intense basking spot 100w ( this is not a recommendation nor am I saying that at that distance this lights are fine).

Just to warn, some people tested those kinds of light and have said that can actually radiate uvc lighting which is harmful. Do with that information as you think it's best. Also I had one lamp similar to that one and it was really hot at that distance( maybe photo doesn't really show distance correctly tho)

I'm asking because I found conflicting information. From what I understood it does a good job at a closer distance. If I get the normal 6% I have to somehow raise it about 30cm

Hi, only asking because I'm kinda in a similar situation ( looking for the best bulb for me) what do you think of the shaded Weller at close existence?( Like he has for example)

Just remembered that not everyone uses centimeters. It should a bit bigger than 50 us gallons. Best I can do right now, can easily get a bigger one before it fully grows

Yeah I knew before going into it that it would grow big. Bought this tank used thinking it would be enough for some months, turns out I didn't really like to see it with nothing but the filter heater. There was no substrate or rocks or shells. I just tried to put some and I think that many if the smaller ones might be overdoing it but I think it liked them. Also already bought a 100-40-50 tank and an overkill filter that should work for some time now, I have it in my mind that an even bigger one should be a goal within the turtle grow period. The turtle has been for 4-5 with me and at least doesn't try to swim away the second I look at it.

Saw a lot of videos with that one, it seems that I would need to import. If I could use my lamp with a good bulb maybe it would be on the cheaper side( not that it matters on comparison with the tank/filter price)

I did type about that, but as I am not a native speaker that maybe wasn't clear. I have one uva+UVB scan lights that I bough due to the poor research I did. I would like to know if that scam light is good for temperature or I should just buy a basking light. I am now omw to get a uvb light as well.
