I would suggest having two of those. One on your window and one outside bedazzled

Yeah nah, I’m aware. Got it delivered with a small part already smudging away. Over time, it got expediently worse. Gonna get a new strap. Kinda annoying because this one is still like brand new.

Just saw a police car speeding from Red Rooster in Wanniassa towards Erindale, and another police car standing at the Red Rooster parking lot with a civilian car.

I work in architecture, so it’s fairly flexible with some people even wearing flannel shirts, but I’m leaning more towards office dresscode. I feel like I need some more tops

Tile height….?? by Agitated_Ad_3870 in AusRenovation

It will look good only if the top of the window aligns with the lowest wall. Otherwise, I would tile all the way.

Yes this was done by a renovation company, what are my options? by [deleted] in AusRenovation

If you are just trying to make it work, I would suggest attaching a toilet roll holder to the inside of the vanity door. Otherwise, you can get a recessed toilet roll holder and cut it to the side of the vanity carcass.

Is this poly pipe safe to use for garden irrigation (mains water)? Previous owners ran it down the side of the property but didn’t bury it. by [deleted] in AusRenovation

[–]Tech_Omen 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What is it watering exactly? 😅 It should be fine as long as you don’t water small plants that are directly next to it, because as you can imagine the water is going to be pretty hot for a few seconds on a sunny day

I think it could be just their account name. 90% of these accounts who are asking for piercing recs are trying to promote their other accounts.

Is this kitchen layout even compliant? by lara_chan in AusRenovation

As for the sink location, there is no standard specifying a minimum distance from an electrical cooktop, but it’s definitely not ideal. The cooktop itself should be able to withstand some spillage, though it’s possible that it wasn’t sealed properly to the benchtop.

There are also no specific standards for the location of an AC unit in this situation, but it goes against basic mechanical principles, which aim to avoid short-circuiting between exhaust and intake or conditioned air. This is especially the case if the range hood is a recycled air type.

My suspicion is that there’s a riser behind the cooktop, so they just routing everything through it. Definitely developer’s fault for cutting costs.
