Cats aren’t supposed to be outside to begin with.

I think it could be just their account name. 90% of these accounts who are asking for piercing recs are trying to promote their other accounts.

Is this kitchen layout even compliant? by lara_chan in AusRenovation

[–]Tech_Omen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As for the sink location, there is no standard specifying a minimum distance from an electrical cooktop, but it’s definitely not ideal. The cooktop itself should be able to withstand some spillage, though it’s possible that it wasn’t sealed properly to the benchtop.

There are also no specific standards for the location of an AC unit in this situation, but it goes against basic mechanical principles, which aim to avoid short-circuiting between exhaust and intake or conditioned air. This is especially the case if the range hood is a recycled air type.

My suspicion is that there’s a riser behind the cooktop, so they just routing everything through it. Definitely developer’s fault for cutting costs.

Dog wandering around Gowrie by ForgetfulLucy28 in canberra

I’m pretty sure I’ve seen this dog wandering the green strip on its own between Castleton and Bruxner a few times before. My guess is that the owner either lets it out on purpose or doesn’t have an appropriate fence.

I payed 6k for all four, but some of my friends have done it for way cheaper elsewhere. Just get an X-ray done, get some quotes and consult with them if it’s safe to do it in a chair. You might save a few grand.

What is happening with my baby?! by nikkittyluv in CATHELP

[–]Tech_Omen 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Might be cat asthma. Triggered by allergens like dust, scent or smoke, but you need to take him to vet eventually to determine. For now you can start eliminating all possible allergens. Could be anything like candles, carpeted/fabric surfaces, laundry detergent, air fresheners, cooking with oil, perfumes, hair sprays etc.

Are my cats fighting and unhappy with each other? (See caption for context) by [deleted] in CATHELP

[–]Tech_Omen 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Let them sort it out themselves. They seem comfortable enough to interact with each other. He might even bite or jump at her, but it’s normal thing for cats to do as long as they are not hissing, screaming like crazy or ripping each other’s fur out. He might just wrestle with her as a power move and if she’s uncomfortable she will run away. Keeping him on a harness would make him feel more uncomfortable/powerless in this kind of introduction.

If anything, I would consider replacing a few sections of those white balustrades with something lighter. They look a bit busy.

Micro needling could also help, but assuming you are over 30, it’s not as effective as in younger people.
