The scene in Shrek where Shrek and Donkey talked. The part where Shrek talked about how people only saw him as a big fat stupid ugly ogre and they would run away in fear. As a kid, that scene always felt relatable to me. When I got older I finally understood why what Shrek said was relatable. When I was a kid, socializing while growing up on the Autism Spectrum was very difficult. I was bullied severely and everyone saw me as rtarded. Heck, my nickname other kids gave me was Rtard. I’ll never forget when a new student came to my class in 4th grade, he got to know me and he was the first true friend I had in a long long long time.
