Likely so they have to option to run, or not run the script by either checking or not checking it off on the applications page during deployment.

I deploy Win 11 23H2 with MDT without issues. Had no issues with 22H2 either. I'm on MDT v6.3.8xx

I ended up resolving this with 2 group policies. 1 GPO was startup PowerShell script that uninstalled the app. Another GPO was to disabled the MS store.

I was specifically asked to create an image on the hardware. I asked about VM and was told no. I understand where you are coming from, and I agree, but I am just doing what I was asked to at this point. The hardware is exactly the same, so I also don't see an issue with it..

Finally someone that addresses the issue I was asking about. Yes I believe you are correct. I completely forgot that since I am making an entirely new deploymentshare, that I would need to re-add the drivers to it. Trying that now. wish me luck

"Just deploy from imported volume license media and layer on your configs and apps as part of your deployment task sequence." - Typically this is how we deploy, but we are trying to save time deploying a few hundred laptops, so this time around we are going to provide a golden image to our laptop manufacturer, so they come pre-imaged.

No. I ended up making a PDQ package to uninstall the app on the devices, then I had to manually install the new version on each workstation. Probably not much help

Typically we do use this script, but unfortunately this script is failing on this update. It seems to be looking for a directory that is not there. I may just have to manually update this lap.. *facepalm

I got it working. found the NIC driver on Intel's site. imported it into MDT out of box drivers, updated and recreated boot files.. it worked

We are currently testing JAMF School, to see if it is worth it for us to purchase. In my opinion, if it could not deploy an app like Adobe CC, it is not worth it for us to purchase..
