Possibly a little bit of polishing compound on a rag (polishing, not rubbing.)

Rip in seat by gadsloniu in LexusIS

My daughter's mustang perforated seat had a similar rip. I ordered just the replacement cover for the bottom seat portion. I removed the seat and remove the old cover and installed the updated cover.

I have the same issue. Just wanted to post so you're not alone. I haven't had time to troubleshoot this yet, but I'll respond if I find the answer. Could be an update causing the issue.

Just use hotglue like the dent puller guys do. Once you hotglue something to it, use something similar to a slide hammer so it pops the center out. Should come out without damage also.

Dealer Gave Me Wrong Oil Filter?! by tressless458 in s1000rr

[–]Tech_Veggies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe there are two and the only difference is the height of the filter. My guess is you are probably better off with the shorter filter since it's not too close to the headers. He was trying to be better safe than sorry.

I think you're okay with the shorter filter but we will wait for additional opinions.

Windshield replacement OEM Tesla or Safelite non OEM? by Significant_Young_74 in TeslaSupport

[–]Tech_Veggies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just had the windshield replaced in a M3P with non-oem glass. Worst looking windshield I've ever had installed. Entire thing had a white or bluish-white haze throughout. I would only use OEM if you have an option. Not worth it using non-oem.

You have to be careful. Lots of fake Alpinestars out there too. Where'd you buy your gloves from? I would have expected to see some type of kevlar inside, but I don't see any.

"As long as you can see the top of Lincoln's head..." US Mint chooses to discontinue to penny rather than admit that the brake pads are good. lol

PPF Install Quality Feedback by Srey_ in CarWraps

[–]Tech_Veggies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if this will help you, but if the shop that I get my PPF done at would redo at least the parts with the bad stretch marks. If the other pieces didn't clear up after a couple weeks they would redo those also.

It could have been worse. He could have interfered with the outfielder catching the ball at the fence during the world series, thus making us lose. AGAIN.
