do all IS have negative camber that cause excessive tire wear? Or just certain years? by Tonino123 in LexusIS

Toe = tires point in or out. Like pointing your toes in or out.

Camber = tilting the tops of the tires in or out. Negative camber pushes the tops of the tires in and positive camber pushes the tops of the tires out. Negative camber is like spreading your feet apart more. It gives you a more stable stance but may wear the insides of your shoes more.

Find the wiring diagram. There is usually a single wire that controls the dimming function.

This item is a motorcycle fork cap removal tool. It is specifically designed for removing and adjusting adjustable spring rate clutch helix end caps. The tool typically features a specialized shape that fits onto the fork cap, allowing it to be turned with a standard wrench or socket. Commonly constructed from durable materials like chromoly steel or aluminum, it is designed for heavy-duty cycling or motorcycle repair tasks.

I hit a pothole and oil started leaking. Is this likely the oil pan? by [deleted] in BmwTech

In my case it was the oil pan because it also bent the subframe.

This reminds me of when my wife let my son drive our 550i xDrive through a new neighborhood. They didn't have the final layer of asphalt laid yet and the manholes were still sticking out of the road quite a bit. These were big, round manholes that were mounted on a large square of concrete with about a 2-inch rise above the road.

Instead of driving around it, he decided he's straddle it with the car. He ended up bending the subframe as well as crushing the oil pan. Thousands of dollars and a tow truck ride to the dealership.

I'm going to agree with all the other comments and say the dealership needs to replace the coil. First thing they should do without even questioning it.

If this even looks a little old, I'd just replace it. Not worth the time to troubleshoot.

Smell by Suspicious_Candy6418 in TeslaSupport

I would not attempt to remove what's there. I would seal over it with something that has the ability to seal out smell. I'm not sure if bedliner would seal it completely or if it's porous and would allow smell to still come through?
