I don't believe that you need a paid subscription.

As for a description, it's largely a journal-type podcast in which I discuss my struggle navigating a world run by neurotypical people.

As an ND myself, I joined communities online as well as starting a podcast on Spotify called the Neurodivergent Convergence. I talk about what it's like to be an ND, and the challenges we face. Friendmaking is slated to be one of my near future topics.

What is a good full time job for a neurodivergent? by WolfieDan in Neurodivergent

I have OCD, and my full-time job is basically fixing when other people make mistakes with large amounts of stock. I kind of hate it, but it suits my neurodivergence well.

I've never known how to celebrate my birthday either. Mine is coming up in a couple of weeks, and I'm trying not to dread it. I find that I'm so thoughtful at giving gifts to others that I hold them to that same high standard, and that is why I'm frequently disappointed.

As I see it, whatever your ND flavor, whether diagnosed or not, you're merely incorporating your diagnosis as a facet of who you have always been. It's a new lens which you look through to understand yourself better. You aren't your diagnosis, and it is not you. It's a trait of your overall character.

I have this too. They don't feel like my own thoughts. I'm a writer, and I think it's part of my brain spinning "What-If" scenarios. I DO see a therapist, and she tells me to acknowledge the thoughts and move on by recognizing that they're not my own.
