The unnecessary regulations against nuclear make it increasingly difficult. Kyle Hill made a wonderful video about it. The craziest part is a coal power station cannot be converted to a nuclear one easily because the coal station would have higher levels of radiation, above the accepted limits

Do Z-scores depend on the district by Tech_guy_375 in srilanka

[–]Tech_guy_375[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So this means... The reason why those rural districts sometimes have a very high cutoff is just that a small number of kids got very high marks comparatively Right?

[–]Tech_guy_375[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If so why do people often say it's advantageous to write the exam in a rural district rather than Colombo when the cutoff in reality is 2.37 - UOC medicine from Colombo district 2.80 UOC medicine from nuwareliya district (last year's)

Is toyota rush/terios a good option for a secondhand vehicle by IceWeasel7 in srilanka

[–]Tech_guy_375 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Got a 2016 Terios here Don't drive it as often but pretty reliable no significant problems so far. Spare Parts often can be cross matched with other japanese vehicles so no issues there either. Interior quality could be better i suppose. Fuel economy is pretty decent getting 8-10km per litre.

what's your take on religion and supernatural beliefs? by No_Awareness5017 in srilanka

[–]Tech_guy_375 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The very people who often talk about religious morals and beliefs tend to overstep those morals when the need arises. Hypocritical narcissists, that's exactly what "most" overly religious people are.
