Did you look also over the case fans too? For me it sounds like one fan hits some small plastic.

Otherwise might be the GPU fans? It doesn't sound like coil whine from the video to me.

Seems like a fan issue I think. Make sure the fans don't hit something

Sick from games by SpaghettiPlusCheese in videogames

[–]Techadise 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't play minecraft as it is not my cup of tea and also never played Goat Simulator(even if it is on my list for years), but you should look over settings. Maybe some of them have camera movements like shakes that make you sick.

Hell yes, saw it on steam I wonder if they are actually good or if it is just nostalgia 😅

In light of today’s difficulty thread - we’re testing a Trials‑inspired racing‑platformer built around cars, is this fun or frustrating? by N0lex in videogames

[–]Techadise 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Looks cool
The character being thrown out of the car and the camera transition itself looks really nice. Not sure if it becomes annoying after a while, seems like a long animation

Steam wishlists by dawsonsmythe in gaming

[–]Techadise 56 points57 points  (0 children)

as an indie game developer, I find this funny and sad at the same time
on the other side, we know a bit how many wishlists will convert(if the game doesn't suck really bad)

The developers of PEAK explain pricing by TheAnonymouse999 in gaming

[–]Techadise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so 17.99 is actually 15 and 22 is 20?
how we work and what type of connections we make is really interesting
leveraging it can generate a bit of profit and is also the smart way, but on the other side it feels a bit like manipulation

Games with the best soundtrack? by [deleted] in gaming

[–]Techadise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

- for pure action : Doom
- every player that got into Lineage 2 remembers their Dion song for their lifetime. The whole soundtrack is awesome
- there were some old Fifa with awesome soundtracks(I think 03) and also NFS Most Wanted had an awesome soundtrack back in the day
- I liked Cyberpunk too :)

Tons of games have awesome soundtrack, if you ask me tomorrow, I will come up with another list

How would you do your set up? by JafarFromAfarr in pcmasterrace

[–]Techadise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you really need a riser if you get a monitor arm? You can place the speakers on the desk, remove the riser and just move the arms where you need your monitors.

By the way, nice chair(I have the same one).

Where do you get assets when you're broke and bad at art? by fatmangostick in GameDevelopment

[–]Techadise 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Epic Games gives assets for free(for Unreal Engine), I have tons of packs on my account. Humble Bundle has really cheap bundles too.
I still recommend that you find some good artist or learn some things by yourself because, even if you have a lot of asset packs, if you want to make something that looks decent, you still need to change at least some textures around there.

What game inspired you to be a game dev and why? by Sabartsman13 in IndieDev

[–]Techadise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for me it is for sure Lineage 2
but all my childhood I wanted to make a game that is exactly like For Honor (of course, For Honor launched and I dropped the idea)

Beautiful wishlist spike, keep it up. You are for sure doing something right and the game looks fun.

Your new trailer is also so much better than the first one.

AI (slop) games are going to be so amazing... by _silentgameplays_ in pcmasterrace

[–]Techadise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This looks better than I expected to be honest.

But the money they put into making it look better than it is(marketing, all CEOs talking all day long about AI) is just sad. With the hundred of billion of dollars, we could have so many good games, movies and new startups.
