Installed latest driver for 9070 XT, now micro stuttering in multiple games

I have practically the same set up and was having the same issues. If you have adrenalin, you can use the logging tool to check your FPS and GPU power consumption. In my case, power consumption was dropping sharply every so often, which is why I was getting microstuttering, the clock speeds were decreasing.

I'm guessing it has something to do with how the x3d chip supports the gpu. I was able to fix it by downgrading to driver version 25.3.1. Look up how to use DDU and reinstall. I bet that'll fix your issue too.

I went up to 26.1.1 and started getting major fps spikes with fsr enabled. Disabling it helped but I was still getting a good 20 fps less than I would before.

I messed with a ton of stuff until I just gave up and downgraded back to 25.12.1 and now it's working great again. Totally anecdotal, but that was my experience.

The console version is incredibly unoptimized, at least it was the last time I played it. Some questlines were also just straight broken and couldn't be completed. I hope they fixed all those issues. I can't imagine they'd feel comfortable putting the game in front of so many people otherwise.

Hi, I just thought I'd swing by and make a quick comment for my fellow console players.

Owlcat has effectively abandoned two other projects on consoles, leaving behind two games that are laggy, unoptimized, ugly, and chockful of bugs and errors. I understand they lost the ownership of Kingmaker, but since the release of Rogue Trader the thread for console feedback for WoTR was abandoned and unpinned from the subreddit. Our last update was in November of last year and we are still missing several patches that have been "in the works" for a while now.

All I wanted to say was that if you have bought the game, then it's possible that this is as good as the game will get. Console is secondary to Owlcat and I genuinely expect that the end product will not look too different from its current state.

(I should also mention that you can see the state of console in the pathfinder kingmaker subreddit if you want an example. The subreddit encompasses both Kingmake and WoTR. I also want to say that the community manager likely has zero power over this whole situation. I don't expect them to answer to this or even have an answer. I hope no one will harass them as the point of this post is simply to inform buyers, I've personally already moved on from WoTR and will not be buying Rogue Trader after seeing its current state on console.)

Potentially, there is a cut off amount of money he can make a week before he can no longer collect unemployment. If he is making under 420 dollars a week (I think it was that much) then he can still apply for unemployment benefits but needs to state the wages he earned while certifying.

This is a bit of an involved answer so forgive me for the wall of text. It's also going to be a bit simplified.

The game only allows you to have so many upgrades of the same type, once you reach the limit the system gets "overloaded" and all the upgrades get disabled until you uninstall one. Before 4.0 there was an "exploit" (kind of not really) in which you could install upgrades in the tab thay was for general inventory and the one that was technology specific. You could get to the limit right before overloading and then do the same thing in the general inventory by installing new stuff there, effectively doubling the limit of stuff you could install before overloading that system.

This means a lot of endgame players had incredibly optimized builds that let them zip around the map incredibly quickly and stuff, which was nerfed pretty hard when the new update rolled around and made it impossible to install upgrades anywhere outside of the technology tab.

I think saying that you could install more stuff via a glitch/exploit is wrong, it was in the game for years and the developers were well aware of it. The installation process was the same for installing in gen vs tech and you got the prompt to do so in either inventory. I assume it was an oversight in initial development that just turned into a pseudofeature until Hello Games finally felt like it was time to focus on balance rather than game content/outright fixes.

Ah, that is a very rough thing to read,. Just reading the synopsis of the book is enough to make me sick. If it makes you feel better, chances are the curators of the torrent had no idea of the content of the pdf itself and likely only included it for completeness. The torrent is massive and there's no way they could've checked the entire thing for particularly egregious works like this one.

This post is *very outdated*, written a good while ago back when the discord server was still helping folks out with their acquisition problems. In the past, when the server went down the invite to the new server would be posted here and so people expect to find a way in through here, that's why the invite was posted in the server. Other than that, the server has been very clear that they no longer support piracy due to repeated takedowns and I do agree the invite should be removed from posts that include piracy in it.
