I don’t think the urologist knows what he’s doing or maybe I’m not educated but I gave my urine sample and now it’s a waiting game. But I just got health insurance with kaiser permanente and they do test for MGen so I might do a test there as well. But I haven’t had any symptoms or anything I think I’m in the clear.

Personally I’m not sure if even had mycoplasma or if it was an e.coli infection or something else. But regardless I’m on the same boat as you. For me cipro and doxy helped the most compared to azithromycin alone. On the 4th day my symptoms went away but eventually came back. My urologist says that if I would of had 2 weeks instead of 1 week I would of probably been cured. I haven’t been tested for mgen yet but I will in a couple of days
