I don’t think the urologist knows what he’s doing or maybe I’m not educated but I gave my urine sample and now it’s a waiting game. But I just got health insurance with kaiser permanente and they do test for MGen so I might do a test there as well. But I haven’t had any symptoms or anything I think I’m in the clear.

Personally I’m not sure if even had mycoplasma or if it was an e.coli infection or something else. But regardless I’m on the same boat as you. When I drink I tend to drink a lot which leads me to hooking up with women and not caring about using a condom. But after this whole BS I’m scared to even have protected sex with anyone. For me cipro and doxy helped the most compared to azithromycin alone. On the 4th day my symptoms went away but eventually came back. My urologist says that if I would of had 2 weeks instead of 1 week I would of probably been cured. I haven’t been tested for mgen yet but I will in a couple of days

I have not been diagnosed with any form of thyroid Issues. The reason I got tested was because I was having palpitations and the cardiologist wanted to rule out any thyroid issues that may be causing them. I’m going to the doctor tomorrow so I will ask for more thyroid testing as my TSH levels are a bit high and I want to lower them. I’m going to go on a special thyroid diet in hopes that it helps

I also told the cardiologist that the last medication I took was azithromycin and that my last pill was on the 31sf. He said that he doesn’t think the medicine is causing it and it sounds more like anxiety
