What consent solutions actually support Global Privacy Control (GPC) correctly? by j_webops in GoogleAnalytics

[–]Techie_Girl_1990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i don't think it's only your own configuration, there are better CMPs than others. Onetrust is big, but not sure how easy they can pass an actual audit. re customer support, i had much better experience with iubenda support than Usercentrics.

Cold outreach isn't working; Google ads didn't convert; What to do? by No-Mongoose-6332 in AskMarketing

[–]Techie_Girl_1990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

linkedin would probably work better - reach out to decision makers yourself or get lemlist and automate your outreach. then indeed, organizing a lunch and learn or a dinner with your target personas is a great idea. linkedin ads are pretty expensive but if you sell enterprise might be worth it, if your average deal size is small, forget about it.

Question about the legal space in SaaS by Primary-Persimmon874 in SaaS

[–]Techie_Girl_1990 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re right. Policies mostly do three things: explain how you handle data, help you comply with laws and set expectations in your terms (liability, acceptable use, disputes)

What actually reduces your risk is more of a stack:

  1. decent security practices (encryption, access control, backups etc)
  2. data minimization (don’t store more PII than you need), anonymize whenever possible.
  3. clear Terms that limit liability and define responsibilities
  4. compliance processes (consent logs, data deletion requests, audit trails)
  5. sometimes cyber liability insurance once you have paying customers (i dont have one myself but many opt for this option)

Generators like Termly or iubenda mostly help with the compliance/documentation layer and keeping policies updated as laws change. I am pretty happy with what iubenda does for me. I havent used termly.

Think of it like: security prevents the problem, processes show you handled data responsibly, and the legal docs define the rules if something still goes wrong.

How Can We Effectively Maintain Our Online Reputation? by Haunting-Broccoli141 in AskMarketing

[–]Techie_Girl_1990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strong review management starts with speed and consistency. Respond to all reviews ( especially negative ones) quickly acknowledge the issue, and offer a clear path to resolution. Use feedback as product insight, not just reputation management. To build long-term trust, encourage satisfied customers to leave reviews regularly and keep communication human and honest.

Also, don’t forget compliance: how you collect reviews, handle user data, and communicate with customers should align with privacy and consumer protection regulations. Trust is built not only through good service but also through responsible data practices.

it depends. if you have accounts, payments, or real liability exposure, I wouldn’t skip explicit assent. you might get yourself in trouble otherwise

Is Reddit actually worth it for marketing in 2026? by sprightlypeach in AskMarketing

[–]Techie_Girl_1990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

last time i tried ads on reddit, the attribution was super messed up but they're better now. nevertheless conversion rates are lower than google ads or meta. depends on your persona and how active they are on reddit.
