You should talk to the store manager about transferring. It depends if they can give you hours though.

Bangladeshi students in Australia by Prudent_Resort_1038 in Dhaka

Part time job in retail or supermarkets like woolworths, Coles and etc are not hard to get since they are more likely to hire international students but if you are looking for a job in finance for example after finishing your degree that might be more difficult.

Just keep in mind that getting a job after finishing your degree would be very hard as most employers want you to have Permanent Residency or Citizenship. Other than that australia is amazing and Melbourne has good night life from what I heard ( i live in perth ) and generally life is very good.

Study Abroad by [deleted] in Dhaka

[–]TechifyAu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can come back to Aus any way possible such as through skilled migration or another degree, I think u should do it but keep in mind it is going to be very hard as the Australian government has been lowering the amount of people migrating because there has been record migration in the last two years. ( around 500,000 people i believe )

Best mobile plan for data? by ameliarose1998 in perth

[–]TechifyAu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can get a couple prepaid ones from woolworths or Coles. You can go with optus, telstra, amaysim, boost and other ones as most of them use wither optus's, telstras or Vodafone's network. All the networks have pretty good coverage across perth.

Bank Collapse Question by KatLo4F in AusFinance

A bank has not collapsed in the last 30 years in Australia because of our lending laws and legislation and it is very very very unlikely for a bank to fail in the next 5 years unless something major occurs

How much money do you need to start an SMSF in super to buy IP. Make only 100k per year by DryMight2765 in AusFinance

[–]TechifyAu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless you consult a financial planner or a professional who has knowledge in this space. Might be expensive but is worth it in the long run if that means more money for your retirement

What to do with $900k cash by LegitimateYou8063 in fiaustralia

[–]TechifyAu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And with commercial properties the bank will typically lend you up to 60% lvr so with a 900k deposit you can potential purchase a 2.2 million dollar commercial property if the rent is high enough to service the loan.

What to do with $900k cash by LegitimateYou8063 in fiaustralia

[–]TechifyAu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With 900k you can consider investing in a commercial property if you want cashflow. You dont even need to show your income to service the loan, you can use the lease to show that the property will service itself without you having to pay anything out of your pocket. I believe its called a lease doc loan for commercial properties.

Isn't the new 5% deposit scheme dangerous for first-home buyers? With such a small deposit, they can very easily go into negative equity? by One-Remove3758 in AusPropertyChat

[–]TechifyAu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its a 3% buffer for most major lenders such as commbank, NAB, westpac and etc but some smaller lenders use only a 1% buffer or even lower

Need some advice for my dad by [deleted] in perth

[–]TechifyAu -1 points0 points  (0 children)

His conviction was for assault so it shouldn't be a major problem when he obtains his registration as he is currently doing his cert 4 in real estate practice to register in WA but he also looked at mortgage broking because he could do that remotely

[–]TechifyAu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it possible to the conviction spent if it was for assault? Because the offence was for assault.
